Steady ground for anxious minds and tired, overextended lives.
Nadia K. Syed, LMHC, offers two ways to work together: licensed therapy for anxiety and clinical burnout, and non-clinical coaching for professionals who are running on empty. Same steady presence, wherever you start.
Telehealth only — sessions held securely from wherever you are
Not every kind of struggle needs the same kind of help.
Both paths are led by Nadia — the difference is the tool, not the care.
Therapy
For anxiety, panic, and burnout that has started to affect your health, relationships, or ability to function. Licensed clinical treatment, grounded in evidence-based practice.
- Diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders
- Clinical burnout & depression-adjacent exhaustion
- CBT- and ACT-informed, nervous-system-aware care
- Confidential, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions
Coaching
For high-functioning people who aren't in crisis, but are stretched thin, unfocused, or stuck. Forward-looking, goal-driven, and action-oriented.
- Burnout prevention & sustainable pacing
- Stress management for demanding careers
- Clarity, focus, and decision-making support
- Not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment
Not sure which fits? Read the difference in the FAQ or just reach out — Nadia will help you figure it out on the consult call.
"Steady isn't the absence of the storm — it's what you build in the middle of it."
Trained as a clinician. Practicing as both.
Nadia K. Syed holds a dual master's degree spanning clinical mental health counseling and life coaching. That combination shapes how she works: the structure and rigor of licensed clinical care — including EMDR for processing trauma and distressing experiences — alongside the momentum and goal-orientation of coaching, offered as two distinct, clearly-bounded services rather than one blurred approach. She was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for the counseling profession, during graduate school.
"Anxiety and burnout don't always need the same fix. Sometimes you need treatment. Sometimes you need a plan. Part of my job is helping you tell the difference."

Therapy, coaching, and telehealth basics
Therapy is licensed clinical treatment — it can diagnose and treat conditions like anxiety disorders and is protected by clinical confidentiality standards. Coaching is non-clinical: it's a forward-focused, goal-oriented partnership for people who are stressed or stretched thin but not seeking diagnosis or treatment of a mental health condition. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy.
Coaching is private-pay and is not billed to insurance. Therapy may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan — reach out and Nadia can walk you through what that looks like.
Therapy is only available to clients physically located in New York State, where Nadia holds an active license. Coaching is a non-clinical service, so it's open to clients anywhere.
Sessions are held over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll get a private link before each session — all you need is a quiet space and a stable connection.
This site and these services are not equipped for emergencies. If you're in crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. If you're a current client in urgent need, use the emergency contact info provided in your intake paperwork.
